Miss Squeak Talks Chihuahuas.

Miss Squeak here and today I am going to talk about Chihuahuas and a few tips and tricks i have learnt along the way with my little furbaby Miss Mildred, And trust me it might just help you out in the long run, in the picture below is my little girl she was stung by a bee and the stinger was still in her bottom lip I was so scared I was shaking just the her . And do you think she would allow me anywhere near her and simple no was the answer. I had to wrap her in a blanket just to get the stinger out then I put ice on  the area she was stung . Yet I was still concerned about the swelling as her little cute face was starting to look like a apple alright one without a nose. I had called my vet who told me if the swelling didn't stop to give her some antihistamine to stop the swelling and the reaction very scary indeed as I had only had Miss Mildred for two months but after giving her the medicine and putting the ice on her the swelling it started to ease up but her cute Chihuahua face was still swollen for a few more days silly little girl , what are some of the scary things your furbaby has done?  Do tell me in the moments below I would love to know.

Now lets get ready to  start . Chihuahua Potty-Training and Breaking-in Potty-training is a vital method that each owner should undergo with their Chihuahua. Unless you propose on keeping your in a confined yard (not recommended), you'll need to show them to use the lavatory outside and not within the house. sadly, however, Chihuahuas have a infamous name for being a breed that is tough and downright stubborn to train. In fact, some homeowners throw in the flag and easily lay out pee pads for them instead. the reality is that practically any Chihuahua, regardless of however old they're, will be toilet-trained once it's done properly and under the correct circumstances.
Although Chihuahuas may be successfully toilet-trained at any age, it's suggested that you simply begin as shortly you bring them into your home, ideally once they are still a puppy. throughout the primary 6-12 months of a Chihuahua's life, their brains are developing at a speedy pace so, they're going to naturally catch on to routines and consistency. you'll use this to your advantage by ingraining the fundamental potty-training commands in your Chihuahua's head. once they learn these principles at an early age, it'll keep it up with them well into their adult years, creating the potty-training method easier for the each of you.

Chihuahua Potty-Training - where should I Start? How to house-break your Furbaby Chihuahua It's easy to feel lost and confused once you first bring your Chihuahua home. you are busy making an attempt to line up their bed, ensure they have food, water, blankets, and you are probably busy fidgeting with them also. whereas all of this fine, you wish to put potty-training at the highest of your list of priorities for them. As stated above, it's crucial that you just begin teaching them the fundamentals of wherever using the lavatory is appropriate and where it is not.
Before you begin trying to potty-train your Chihuahua, you will need to pick up a couple of basic things first. these things are necessary to encourage smart behavior, also as stop unhealthy behavior. Here are the items you may need:
1-2 boxes of little milk bone treats for pleasing smart behavior.

A crate that is simply large enough for your Chihuahua to stand up and switch around in.Small, comfy bed with a few soft blankets.Soft, non-abrasive collar with a leash that is a minimum of 10-feet long.  Potty-Training BasicsOne of the key factors to successfully potty-training your Chihuahua is letting them grasp once they do one thing bad. once you see them do their business on the ground within your home, quickly walk over to them and at once say "No!" or "Bad boy/girl!" you ought to never physically spank or hit your Chihuahua, as this could injure them and make it tougher to coach them. Instead, continue a powerful verbal statement letting them grasp that what they did is unacceptable. Chihuahuas are quite emotional, and verbally telling them no while pointing at them is all it takes to urge the message across. No matter however hard you are trying to stop it, accidents can happen. It's an inevitable a part of owning any indoor dog, despite the breed, therefore do not expect your Chihuahua to be any completely different. when you see them piss or pooping within the house, tell them "No!" and walk them outside. while you are walking them, say one thing on the lines of "go potty" or "go pee-pee," as this can help them associate the words with the pottying behavior. it's going to take a while, however stay patient and wait for them to try and do their business. once they are smart and use the toilet outside, offer them a milk bone treat along side countless kissing and praise as a gift for his or her sensible behavior. Treats go a long ways once it involves potty-training and obedience coaching, therefore use them to your advantage.
Another very little trick I've learned that helps to potty-train a Chihuahua is to continuously take them to constant place outside to try and do their business. Chihuahuas have a keen sense of smell and can be able to tell wherever they've used the toilet before. once they encounter a section they've already used the toilet at, they're going to instinctively believe it's a suitable space. you'll begin walking your Chihuahua to alternative parts of the yard once they're older and totally pot-trained, however stick with a chosen space throughout their early puppy years.  This has really worked for me as when   we got Miss Mildred she had been crated with her brothers and sisters and not really potty trained at all and she would just wee and poo any where I had to be on the ball watching her every move and as you have your furbaby Chihuahua you will learn your pups habits Miss Mildred starts to sniff the ground and then starts to circle its her way of letting  me know she needs out . Now she will sit at the  backdoor and give it a scratch. But trust me our little Furbaby Chihuahuas have tiny bladders around the size of a shot glass so if they drink a lot a lots needs to come back out. And sometimes we have a tiny wee wee on the floor big deal don't sweat the small stuff its easy to clean up so keep up with the training and you too can have a toilet trained pup. Good luck and come read again .
